Every time I tried working for a different job, I feel different.
It’s the feeling of working with different people, from different backgrounds, doing different things. Yet, I always have a feeling, the feeling of ignorant. There are so many things I need to learn, and want to learn.
And I realized big bosses [plural for boss I wonder?] of a small companies are usually quite nice! There was that boss of XXX Company who treated me to chocolate ice blended bubble tea and this boss of AEG Company who let me go for that buffet lunch at the hotel for lunch time. You may think I am easily satisfied, and I really think I am. Haha. Treat me a meal and I will remember you for life. Sounds exaggerated? Maybe, but I do remember people when I eat that same food even after sometime. I have got a sweet tooth! But I can’t take too much sugar! One of the reasons is that my mum had diabetic condition when she was pregnant with me, which means I have much higher chance than normal people to have diabetic condition.
Anyway, this boss advised me to have an aim in life, and work towards it. Having heard his story, I do believe soft skills are very important in life- To speak with confidence, to have confidence, to present oneself well.
There’s so much in life that I got to learn. Oh, there’s this quote that I more strongly believe in after listening to what he said-
Everything happens for a reason.
